Usage Description

MPS310 Reverse Osmosis Acidic Scale Inhibitor is a high-efficiency scale inhibitor and dispersant specifically developed for reverse osmosis (RO) systems with high calcium, high magnesium, high sulfate, and high silica content in the feed water. This product has an extremely high calcium solubility. At 25°C and pH 8.0, it can stabilize calcium ions in the concentrate side up to 40,000 mg/l, sulfate content above 10,000 mg/l, and silica content equivalent to 400 mg/l. It is particularly suitable for wastewater reuse and harsh feed water conditions. It can be used with RO membranes and TFC membranes from Dow Chemical (Dow Filmtec), Hydranautics, as well as domestic brands, and nanofiltration membrane elements.

Usage Requirements

Dosage:

Continuously add MPS310 Reverse Osmosis Acidic Scale Inhibitor to the feed water before it enters the membrane system. The recommended dosage is 5-15 mg/l in the feed water. The specific dosage may vary depending on water chemistry, membrane type, and system operating parameters (such as recovery rate, temperature, and pressure). The exact dosage should be calculated using the supplier's software.

Dilution:

MPS310 Reverse Osmosis Acidic Scale Inhibitor should be added continuously. It is recommended to directly add the concentrate at the maximum frequency of the dosing pump. Alternatively, it can be diluted with RO product water or demineralized water, with a dilution factor not exceeding 10.
